Be nice to name this island-inhabiting Helophilus here near Vega,Norway...
what's needed to take it further, if not H.pendulus?

Only pendulus has that much yellow on the hind tibia and on the tip of the hind femur. Male.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
