Hi, This fly took a rest on the wall of our house in the late afternoon. I would expect hat to be an Anthomyia sp. (female?), maybe A. procellaris. Can that be confirmed or excluded from the attached image and/or is a narrower determination possible ? Germany, Southern Bavaria, Munich (-West), 27.06.2023, app. 8-10 mm Greetings, Uli Edited by ukursawe on 28-06-2023 15:41 |

Hi John, wow, that was quick. Thank you for the identification, and from the images that I have seen on the web its more likely male than female? Greetings & Thanks, Uli Edited by ukursawe on 28-06-2023 15:00 |
