Hello, the many forms ("macho"/"non macho" and variations of Phasia and Ectophasia still confuse me. Currently Phasia hemiptera and Ectophasia crassipennis are abundant here (northwest Germany). But I can't readily assign this 8 mm fly from our courtyard to a species (clearly it's no P. hemiptera) and not even a gender. It shows some kind of 'M' character on the thorax, but otherwise is very different from Phasia aurigera. Can someone help me?
