Hi, Recently I took pictures on a very interesting dry grassland east of Berlin. On the flowerheads of Helichrysum arenarium there was a tiny Tachinid, measuring 3 mm at most. When I looked at the pictures on the screen, it strongly recalled Dinera grisescens, but I have never seen such a tiny specimen of that species. I know that the size of parasitoids depend on the size of their host, so if this is Dinera grisescens indeed the larva must have been rather unlucky... What do you think? Thanks for opinions!
