Sadly it flied away just after this shot. But it had striking bright green eyes, very bright, like a Philipomyia. Size as a Lucilia. Pollinating flowers of Baccharis prunifolia in Cerro Monserrate, Bogotá, Colombia. 27th September 2023. |
