Bernd Rottenburger
I spotted this mosquito on the wall of the house on 30.10.2023 in Germany Baden Württemberg. Can the mosquito be identified?

Thank you very much and best regards
Bernd

Hi Bernd, I think it's one of the Mycetophilidae, a female? Greenomyia mongolica.
Greetings, Eric Kloeckner

Hi Eric, thanks for identifying the mosquito. You can find almost nothing about this mosquito on the Internet. Is it rarely spotted?

Best regards,
Bernd

did you probably mistype the name? In Google many hits occur (and I found that species myself these days and earlier).
Best regards,
Jürgen
