Hello, I photographed this fly near Umito (AP), Italy, 700m a.s.l. on July 22nd 2023. I think it is a Muscidae, but is it possible to identify its genus or species from these photos? Thank you in advance, Emanuele Edited by ESant on 13-11-2023 11:11 |

Buona sera Emanuele, I think it's a female Limnophora and from the pattern of the abdomen it could be Limnophora riparia.

I'd say L. triangula
