Hello, I found this fly near Umito (AP), Italy, 650m a.s.l. on July 22nd 2023. I think it is a Cylindromyia, but is it possible to identify its species? I can provide more photos if needed. Thank you in advance, Emanuele Edited by ESant on 06-12-2023 23:53 |

In the key to Central European species, Cylindromyia bicolor has the combination of discals and red-tipped abdomen. C. interrupta has discals but is a darker species and lacks apical scutellar bristles. |
