Myopa vicaria ?
johan v
I found this species in Ticino, Switzerland. Date : 19-06-2023.
My preference is Myopa vicaria but I have doubts. Myopa testacea may also be a possibility.
A second opinion is welcome.

Vicaria is an early spring species with very hairy parafacial.

Ok. Thank you for your answer.
I don't know if it has enough hairs on thorax and abdomen for Myopa hirsuta.

No. Moreover, that is early soring as well.

The Myopa key, It's still hard for me.
I find some similarities for Myopa stigma and found an observation on the 22st of May, so that's close.
But it remains a bit of a gamble for me.
