Tachinidae: Billaea sp.

Hello,

I photographed this fly in Val Udai (TN), Italy, 2200m a.s.l. on August 2nd 2023. I think it is a Tachinidae, but is it possible to identify its genus or species from these photos?

Good call, Emanuele. Arista is plumose yet indeed a Tachinid.
Looks like a Billaea.

No pic showing hind tibia ?

Thank you Theo! I double-checked in my archive but these are the only two photos I have of this individual.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
