I think that this could be a Calliphoridea species? It was found walking slowly on the snow just outside Stockholm Sweden 24th January 2024. Temperature +4 C. Is it possible from these photos to say what genus it is or even species? If not what other details need to be taken photos of to be able to come closer to genus/species? Many thanks Juergen for pointing me in the right direction. When I look at a British key for blowfleis I can see that it is a female of Pollenia vagabunda Best Regards Ole P |
