Hi, This Syrphus should be neither vitripennis nor torvus, because the hind femora are light and have only a small dark part close to the body (do you call this region the base?). So I suppose I photographed Syrphus ribesii. Do you agree? Location is Berlin in October. Regards, Sundew |
