Hi J?rgen, But look this male Eristalis tenax http://www.dipter...d_id=11255 which I posted from exactly the same area. They look so different. This Eristalis has much lighter coloration, less hairy and distinct yellow knees. The one from December was very dark which almost no yellow in the knees. Tenax is very variable in coloration, but somehow always easy to recognize... |
