Found in Veldhoven (The Netherlands), today. Small syrphid fly. It looks like melanostoma, but I hesitate with the white stripes on the abdomen (pollen?) Thanks in advance. Mariki Edited by mariki on 12-05-2008 20:38 |

It's a female Melanostoma with fungal infection (fungus is Entomophthora sp.).
