Can anyone id these three? All from southeast Norway. Garden or meadow in forest. 1. Eristalis arbustorum? May 12, 2008 2. Eristalis interrupta? July 15, 2007 3. Eristalis abusiva? September 15, 2007 Or am I way off here? John |

My guess for first two would be Eristalis interrupta females, the third more likely E. arbustorum female. Greetings Greetings, Gerard Pennards |

yes indeed it is E. arbustorum...there is no black stripe,the face being almost entirely whitish. Amalia |
