Hello! I found this 5 mm fly on May-22 on a log in dedicious forest (northwest Germany). I'm not sure even about the family? Heleomyzidae? Best regards, Jürgen -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Juergen Peters Borgholzhausen, Germany WWW: http://insektenfo... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= |

My guess is Pherbellia annulipes, Sciomyzidae.

Hello, Stephane! Stephane Lebrun wrote: My guess is Pherbellia annulipes, Sciomyzidae. Uhh..., Sciomyzidae, thanks! Many of that family are very distinctive, so I don't have it in mind when seeing a rather unobtrusive fly.
