Well, it is definitely a male Syrphus, but it has been wet or something like that, that explains the color os the thorax. It has no hairy eyes, so it is ribesii or vitripennis. Greetings Greetings, Gerard Pennards |

I didn't wet it for sure! It was in the morning, but it didn't look wet at all and had this dark thorax... Ok, I'll take it for a Syrphus. Many thanks, Sundew |
