Hi, A friend of mine has send these pictures over to me. Untill Parhelophilus, I'm shure; But can anyone confirm Parhelophilus frutotorum? Thanks a lot, Greets, Jonas  And a (big picture) of the head - hairs behind the occeli.  Both pictures taken by Bert Willaert. |

Well Jonas, I can at least confirm a female Parhelophilus sp. In females of the genus the diference is only visible under the microscope, even if you have a picture of the head like your second one. Next time catch it and check the back of the head for black hairs in between the yellow. Greetings Greetings, Gerard Pennards |
