Hi, Such a long time I didn't post on diptera.info... (Thanks, my job... ![]() I met this "pretty little" ( ![]() ![]() (Sorry, I only have side-views, because I was not suple enough to make top-view photos ! ![]() ![]() I think it may be some kind of Simulidae. It was at the edge of some undergrowth. No water nearby, as far as I know. Is it really some Simulidae, or not ? Who know the name of this inconsiderate guest ? Rest assured: it is Simuliidae. I am not familiar enough with the family even to give a genus name, though according to some classifications most of the are Simulium anyway. ![]() Paul - - - - Paul Beuk on https://diptera.info |
