Megachilidae: possible Osmia
Isidro
Four or five days ago. Madrid, center Spain, about 800 meters. Habitat: Quercus ilex (very) clear "forest" (or better, isolate Q. ilex trees in a plain zone) with many wild flowers (Ferula, Eryngium, Anacyclus, Jasione, Retama sphaerocarpa...). Continental-Mediterranean climate. Cloudy-rainy day. Size: tiny, about 7-8 mm long.

Then, only I can say "Bee", not?

Jose Luis RC
I only could be sure if I see it wing with its basal ribbing.

cthirion
The profile of the abdomen does not correspond to Andrena, often much more flattened !Wink

Bee is correct, and Megachilinae also. But I am not able to recognize a genus, most probable it is an Osmia.
