Hippoboscid in Turdus philomelos

This hippoboscid was found today (21/06/2008) in Avintes, Portugal. Is it identifiable? It carries with him what I think are phoretic mites, or could they be parasitic?![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I think it's similar to Ornithomya sp., is that correct? |

From what I can make out it looks to be Ornithomya avicularia.
