Hi, i was wondering if anybody could offer an ID for this hoverfly - image taken last September whilst moth trapping.

Looks like a Melanostoma female.

My idea would be female Platycheirus sp., mybe P. albimanus because I think I see greyish abdominal spots. Do you have more pictures?

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
