Little heavy builded fly
Robert Heemskerk
Hi Flyreader,

This little fly (about 2,5 mm) got heavy builded legs.
I found them on some dung near meadow-land.

What kind of fly is it?

greeting Robert,

Hi Robert,

The first one should be a Sphaeroceridae sp. and for the second one you can look here : http://www.diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=5&thread_id=853#post_3110

Thanks a lot Ben!

They look quite similar when I compare these flies.
Nice picture!

I place one more picture of that 'little dungfly', from another vieuw.
(I have got also one from the backside)

Frown, it's time to buy a nice book about flies, I think..

Robert,
