Is this syrphid Eristalis sp. perheaps a female of arbustorum ??

It is a Eristalis female allright, but not arbustorum, these are smaller than this animal. This is a female of Eristalis tenax. You can see the hairs on it's eyes, and even places where the bands of hair are on the eye, characteristic for tenax! greetings, Greetings, Gerard Pennards |
