hello flyforum, This fly clinged itself to a tree so it was nog blowned away by the wind. The head is held forward and the snout is partly hidden. Is this a Hilara sp.? It's a large group 'Hilara', many species.. What kind of Hilara sp. is this?, must be difficult to see (I gues..) greeting, Robert Heemskerk |

Rhamphomyia, probably R. crassirostris.
