I suspect these may all be Phaonia spp This one was taken at Katherine, in the tropical Northern Territory of Australia. It might even be P pallida Susan |

Nikita Yes, I think you are right - I can see the bend in the vein of the last two. Also when I saw this species later it was behaving more like Calliphoridae, in company with presumed Sarcophaga sp and what I now know is probably Chrysomyia sp on some fresh horse dung. Thanks again. Susan |
