Hello Mariki, Not sure, but I would have said a young Marpissa muscosa, considering the thickened front legs... The color pattern is very variable in the species, and the exact shape of the abdomen is not really obvious in this pic... Cheers Philippe |

Hello! It is no Marpissa. Their forelegs are still more thickened, they have another habitus (more lengthy) and the markings on the abdomen are never like this (although rather variable). I think it it a young female Evarcha (arcuata?). http://www.spiderling.de/arages/Fotogalerie/species_fg.php?name=Evarcha arcuata Best regards, Jürgen -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Juergen Peters Borgholzhausen, Germany WWW: http://insektenfo... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= |

Thank you Philippe and Juergen, I think that is Evarcha sp. In my archives, I had already Evarcha falcata male and female. Since I posted this picture I saw also female E. falcata with markings on its abdomen. So, maybe falcata or arcuata, I do not know. So, it will be Evarcha cf. arcuata.
