Andrzej This (Oeceoptoma thoracica, Sepsidae) is an interesting association as these insects and Heleomyzidae are of forensic importance. They are used to help establish PMI (Post mortem interval or time of death. A lateral aspect is needed for better examination  The best ID is to catch the male also and prepare the genital part. Andrzej |
