Chrysotoxum arcuatum, I agree (long 3d ant. segment, abdomen with long hairs, short and arched, wings not darkened anteriorly).

The only thing one shouldn't forget that this species is also called Chrysotoxum fasciatum, for example in the 2008 edition of the Species accounts of European Syrphidae!! Which is the right one, I'm not sure..... Greetings Greetings, Gerard Pennards |
