this was nice, moving its wings slowly upside/down (not flying, on the ground) as showing them to another one who was doing the same Smile
could it be parydra or relatives?

The ovipositor and the wing venations makes me think of Ulidiidae, a smallish family near Tephritidae. This fly doesn't exactly match anything I've seen, but then again, our ulidiid fauna here in Finland is very poor compared with yours.

PS. A size estimate can often help a lot.

oh, maybe
i?m sorry i try to catch just one of each, less than 1cm, sunbathing, first week of may in a place with a dry river with round stones (rolling?), but i can try to do more pics (and better)

Miguel is right. Loex to be a Ulidia apicalis or near. Some chars are invisible in alcohol.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
