Photographed in my kitchen on New Years Eve. Strange ritual this little Sciarid (<2mm) went through. Pic.1 Walking/staggering around, laying on its back and flexing its Abdomen and oozing yellow fluid. Anyone ID this fly to genus, Bradysia? Edited by Roger Thomason on 02-01-2009 01:47 |

Pic.3 Walked/Staggered around again, lay on its back again flexing Abdmen again still oozing yellow fluid and died.  Happy New Year from Shetland.
