orange diptera? larvae -> Cecidomyiidae

Hello, here is another larvae, also from the decaying interior of a Cirsium arvense stem. It's from last weekend. Length was about 7-8mm. Is it diptera? Any suggestions what it could be? Thanks, Michael Edited by Michael Becker on 28-01-2009 19:58 |

Are you sure it is Diptera not Coleoptera? At least not Cecidomyiidae really. |
