OK.. another (un?)educated guess  If R1 is bare and R4+5 has hairs extending to the node then I get to Belida angelicae in Belshaw's key. But I have never seen this species (it is only known from 1 UK record) so I have no idea if that is even close. But the postpronotal lobe does appear to have hairs forming a forward-pointing triangle and the middle leg has lots of ad-bristles.

Hi Chris, Right tribe (Blondeliini), but Belshaw can save you here. This is Lecanipa bicincta, a central and eastern European species. The abdominal pattern is somewhat remniscent of Thelaira females. The eyes are hairy and the facial ridge has strong bristles all the way up. Tibia 2 has a row of strong ad bristles. So: I was wrong 3+3 ac. But still only 3 setas only on base of R4+5. More, it sems that fly on photo on the contrary has setas from R4+5 base till rm. Image and collected fly in same 5m2, image 10-15 min before. And another question. In genera key to Lecanipa lead teza: - M1+2 curve without appendix ? which is correct in my case - R4+5 reach wing margin near wing?s top ? which is not correct (obiosly before). Some mistake in my genara key? Nikita |

It is fragment of large image of Lecapina I send. If I it is setas on marked area, so the only explanaition I can find is on photo L. bicincta, but collected L. leucomelas or fly lost setas in exgauster. Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |
