I beleive that this is Micropselapha basovi. I see that Ozerov in 2009 determined it as M. filiformis. But that was before he described basovi in 2010 and before Bartak & Kubik described M. bohemica in 2012, the latter species later reduced to synonym of basovi. An easy character for separating basovi from filiformis is the breadth of parafacial (very narrow in filiformis, broader i basovi; see pictures in Ozerov 2014. Notes on types of three species of Scathophagidae (Diptera)
described by I.W. Zetterstedt. Russian Entomol. J. 23(4): 317–320). M. filiformis is usually yellow apically on frons while basovi is usually black. The Danish fly looks more like M. basovi.

Hi Sven.
Thank you very much for your message.
I´m just an amateur, and don´t know how to handle this. I have pictures of what I think is this species on the danish homepage https://www.fugleognatur.dk/gallery.asp?mode=species&ID=13214 and have more photos of them, - I do not catch the flies.
Would you take a look on the photos?

Kindly regards Ruth
