Hello! I found this 7-8 mm Brachyopa male yesterday at a forest path (northwest Germany). Is it possible to tell the species (testacea)? Thanks in advance! Hello one more time! No way? BTW: Many hover flies on the wing in the last days here at 18-21 °C (today only 15 °C, but for the weekend up to 26 °C are prognosed - only drawback: very dry, hasn't been raining for weeks here, now).
