I can not recognise this robberfly in gallery. Could it be some Cyrtopogon? About 12 mm Photo from Norasundet, Ångermanland, Sweden 62,53N 18,06E 3 june 2009 Thanks for your help in advance Regards Kurt Holmqvist |

Should be a male Cyrtopogon lateralis. Would be a quite big one with 12 mm. Greetings, Danny Wolff |

Hi Kurt, this one is a male, the one from june 2008 was a female. Both sexes have different grey markings on the abdomen. Greetings, Danny |
