Last year I posted an ID request for this one but the photos I had then weren't very clear. This is a bit better and I hope someone can ID this for me. About 20mm and a slow flyer that mostly stays close to the ground and perches for long periods basking in the sun. Taken in the North Burnett region of Queensland. Au. Thanks guys. |

Looks like a Bombyliidae. A species near Comptosia??? Maybe David can tell you more. Maybe changing the subject will draw his attention.
