Brian Only one choice in Britain - B elongata. I had one in my garden yesterday. They are quite common, but you don't notice them because they like to fly in shady leafy places and they are so thin and dark they are effectively invisible. Susan |

Thanks for the info and ID Susan and Paul. Probably only noticed it because I'm trying to keep a lookout for Ichneumons and they tend to inhabit the same places |
