There are relatively few species with completely black antennae. Of one of these I know the abdomen has no markings (C. emiliae) and for a species (group?) I have no mentioning of presensence/absence of abominal markings in my notes. I have that marked as 'nigripalpis/herbarum (juncorum Tanas.)'. No idea what the status of that is anymore...

Thanks Paul, Well, I can't help much, at least all of these four species names are given at Fauna Europaea. |

Well, I think the juncorum name was one that Tanasiichuk erroneouly once used for nigripalpis and/or herbarum so then we probably are looking for one of three species. ![]() Paul - - - - Paul Beuk on https://diptera.info |
