This looks like a Chloropidae to me... any further ideas?

Approximately 3-4 mm long.

Caught in Houston, Texas, in October 2001.

Any help appreciated.

If it were a chloropid you would be able to see the large ocellar triangle in the dorsal view. It is not there. My guess is a lauxaniid but maybe Steve can confirm that when he drops in the next time. Wink

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
