Melangyna compositarum = labiatarum?

Melangyna labiatarum is not listed in Fauna Europaea and I also suspect that is the same as M. compositarum. It's any official proposition to synonym them? |

I wonder if this can be updated to give the current position on the two species? Please look at my thread.. http://diptera.in...d_id=40489 ...with particular notice to: As the latest edition of Mark van Veen keys "Hoverflies of Northwest Europe" states that the two species "may be a single species" but gives keys to both (females included), and the keys post date both the thread you have linked to and the thread here which I have linked to, someone out there might know the latest on this.
