Hello,

is it possible to ID this fly (these flies)? I suppose that both pics show the same species, if not even the same individual, they were taken within 10 minutes in the same place:

edge of a forest 200m from the coast
~12mm

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
