Dolomedes is correct, but I don't know if there are more species in Norway than D. fimbriatus.

beware with the female. The bite is very painful in Dolomedes!

I hate to admit that my stomach turns by the presence of (most) spiders, so I keep my distance.

Unless I find Argyroneta aquatica, then I would take it home to study it Grin

I had Argyroneta aquatica... it is awesome to see a spider living underwater!!! awkward it is an impressive adaptation! I have photos of it but I need to find out them... not for now. They are from 2006, i think... I would need more Argyroneta aquatica. It is not cited for Portugal so far. But for example we can find them in Girona - SPAIN.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
