Hello,
An asilid? (nearly 15mm) from East Turkey taken in July. Could anybody identifies its species?

It's a male of the subfamily Asilinae and should be placed in the Neomochtherus group - includes several genera described by Pavel Lehr and characterized by internal structures of the genitalia.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
