I come here is despair, as I can´t find any clue to the ID of this heteropteran bug. Even the family (Pentatomidae ?) is uncertain. Found in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. Thanks, Joaquim Gaspar |

I'd say Leptoglossus in Europe is pretty similar. So Coreidae. Coreinae.

I'd say a Zicca sp. Check Revision del genero Zicca (Hemiptera-Heteroptera-Coreidae-Coreinae-Coreini) by Brailovsky&Cadena (1992, Publicaciones especiales del Instituto de Biologia, 9, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, Instituto de Biologia). |

Thank you Black, I've just talked with Dr. Brailovsky! Could be a Zicca faeniola (my opinion, not his). Joaquim Gaspar |

This work is partially available for viewing at books.google.com, a better view of pronotum and antennal segments would help, I think it's hardly taeniola (mostly Central America and the Caribbean islands, don't trust bugguide.net too much). |
