Hello, There are presently many Bibionidae of different species here in Burgundy. The most common and biggest one is this one, which I think is Bibio marci. (Saint Apollinaire, Burgundy - 14 mm long for female, male not measured) And here is the detail of fore tibia of some female : Can you confirm B. marci, or are there similar species that can't be distinguished with such photos ?
