Head = One Big Eye

I spotted this fly on a PawPaw leaf far over my head. With my 180 mm lens this is as big as I could make him. His head appears to be one big eye.

PawPaw tree next to a creek, 10 July 2006, West Virginia USA.

I'd be glad to know even the family.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
