Member Location: Posts: 7168 Joined: 19.11.04	Hi Juergen I wonder whether this might be a female Thereva handlirschi. (Not a species I'm familiar with, but the description seems to fit.) This is only a suggestion - it would be best to wait until someone familiar with the central European species can confirm this before adding it, even as a temporary name. Tony ---------- Tony Irwin

However, I can see only 1 pair of dorsocentral bristles on the thorax. If that is correct, the picture cannot represent handlirschi, since this species has 2 pairs of DC before scutellum. Maybe Juergen can check on an original at higher resolution ? Theo Zeegers
