Several of these furry red mining bees have been busy sunning themselves in my garden recently. I know Andrena sp. are usually very hard to ID, but is this perhaps Andrena fulva? OK thanks for the feedback and the useful weblinks. It certainly looks like online pictures of A.fulva, but I know that most Andrena sp. are very hard to ID from photos, but maybe some, like this one, are more distinctive.
