Hi, We have lots of Daisies around the house, and I often see tiny dark Empis flies on the flowerheads. They do not look very thrilling, but perhaps it is a common species? Thanks for help, Sundew |

If I had my key here I would have a crack at it, but since the key is in the office and me at home for another 10 days...

Dear Paul, is your key still out of reach? (The flies are meanwhile - the Daisies are still in bloom, but no Empis is visiting; obviously they belong to a spring species.) |
